Yahoo Music release the list for the Worst Ten #1 Hits of the 80’s. For this playlist, the author selected one song from each year of the 1980s. To qualify, the song had to reach the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and it has to be what the author consider an “abomination.”
