How to View AVI Videos on iPhone and iPad

Our guess is that your camera’s videos are in AVI format, which isn’t supported by iTunes or the native video player in the iPhone and iPad.  To resolve this issue you can download an iPhone or iPad app that does play these files, such as CineXPlayer for iPad ($2.99) or the universal GoodPlayer ($2.99), and use that to watch your videos without needing to convert them.

If your video is in a supported format (checksupport.apple.com/specs/#iphone), you can just drag it into iTunes and add it to your devices from there.
